The Misunderstanding

When I was a child my mom had one of those time life books about the paranormal.  In that book there was the famous case of the experiment where they made up an entity and performed a series of seances.  The entity showed up and manifested like any other spirit. https://www.liveabout.com/how-to-create-a-ghost-2594058
My purpose for bringing up this case is that I know that my personal validation that the spirits are an  objectively real phenomena, is not nor should be enough for you. 

I feel the need to bring up a weird social manifestation that I am observing.

Look people know people are real but they still argue about what is the correct paradigm to live by.  This is human nature and takes place in the realm of the 5 senses and the 3D world.

This is what I have observed:
There are people who claim to know from personal experience and Interaction with the spiritual realms and their entities.

In my experience when this is true, people study everything because different paradigms only hold pieces of the puzzle.

Even reconstructioists and made up paradigms hold keys, because they have done enough research to trip over some authentic material.

The behaviors and motivations of those who actually know are not driven by the normal human concerns and priorities.  So they are either completely misunderstood or appear to be out of step  with the rest of the world.

Almost all of the grimoires say the same thing on one point.  The only Magick system that will work for you is Your Own System that you have to discover through some kind of transformative journey that causes you to have some kind of personal contact with the Spiritual Realms/Entities.

Your own system and not a system meant to be turned into a religion.

The misunderstanding manifests as people arguing over paradigms and who is for real and who made shit up or not.  It doesn't matter at all because by whatever name you call it: the Spiritual is real and is interactive. Everything else is a blind.

The presidential candidate selection process in the democratic and republican parties is clearly broken because we as voters in most of the American Presidential elections have had to choose between two people who are not the two best candidates who declared that they are running for president in that cycle.  Look at all of these rational and consistent candidates who have been trampled by the nomination system and how they could have lost their parties nomination to such extreme and pathological liars who turn out to just make a mess of things.  Why don't intelligent and reasonable people make it through the nomination  process of the democratic and republican parties?  Look at all of the great candidates who have declared they are running for president for the 2020 election. Something needs to change in the nomination process so that we can actually have a reasonable set of candidates to vote for on election day.  I am tired of having to choose between the lesser of two evils.

The internet could become a global town square where an intelligent exchange of ideas could occur.  A place of enrichment and learnimg.  A place to discuss social issues and connect with like minded people to create community.  Like anything else it is what you use it for.  Also like everywhere else it is shaped by other people too.  Maybe someday, but for now, I am profoundly dismayed by wanton displays of pure idiocy.  These are days I think about, leaving them to it and never logging on again. :)

Food for Thought 2.0

Once upon a time in Ancient Greece ideas were shared in an open forum: the town square.  As a result certian ideals were discussed that still inform and shape our world.  These ideas took shape because the people asked pertainent questions which can only happen where ideas flow freely.  It is important to be able to question ideas that range from the fabric of the universe to what is in our food.  The internet is potentially the new town square.

The thing that has hobbled the free flow of knowledge in the past has been through a type of sequesting and control of information. When the government hides knowledge or refuses to answer our questions we are outraged.  When exclusive groups do the same thing, most people don't even question it. 

The only real reason to dam the flow of knowledge and make it exclusive is to corral and control people for the gain of the few controlling the flow.

You can easily be controlled if you do not have access to the information necessary to make an informed decision.

The internet could be a global town square where everyone has access to the information that they need to know.

As easily as  the internet can be used as a resource to educate yourself it can also be used to reinforce biases and other people can use it to catfish you.  This is why you have to be vigilante and verify what you find.  Unfortunately in your quest for knowledge and understanding for the purpose of making informed choices you will run into walls. Walls of secret groups herding people into manageable groups that block you from getting answers to your questions because in some places questions are still too dangerous.

Secret groups are where the sheep are fleeced.

The only ones who need to hide are those who can easily be undone by questions from an observant mind.  They hide from questions in many ways and carefully spin their presentation.


Consider this as food for thought and be vigilante o' student.   For if a teacher is true the knowledge will become your own wings that liberates you.

     Initiatory experiences are inevitable for anyone seeking to achieve very specific ends. Seek and ye shall find is not a promise kept by a god but a cause and affect feature of existence itself. According to the Qabala: Assiah is not in any way considered a noun. Assiah is literally a verb: it is action. It is the point of power where you can act or choose to not act.

     Initiation is like the idea that I want to go upstairs and the literal steps I take to get there. Apotheosis, Ascent, Discovery of True Human Potential and Ipssissimus are all intentions that when set lead to an inexorable chain reaction. With or without membership to a group the universe does comply.

     The results are not what most students expect and they involve any and all aspects of your life. They involve the transcendence of any and all limits one at a time. Usually one at a time for maximum intensity to insure the quality of the product. Initiation is a process of Alchemical transformation which manifests as life experience in real time. Initiation does not occur because you kissed ass and have passed some hazing in a group. Initiations are offered through specific life situations that require you to know the obstacles to your objective and eliminate them.

If you have set your intent in the way that I mentioned earlier in this article, then yes you are being tested. Once that intent is set there is no escape as a matter of fact there is no escaping any intent that you set in motion. There are always consequences. So if you are thinking that the underlying current of the universe is just waiting for you to harness it, just remember that you first have to learn how to.

     The Alchemical process of Initiation is completely ruthless. It thoroughly confronts every personal issue that you have. All normal human issues will be dealt with. There is no more compartmentalizing your life: sacred, not sacred, family, not family, mine, not mine; it's all you. The ego will look at Initiatory opportunities as unacceptable bullshit. Back to personal accountability, you asked for this. You asked to sacrifice everything that you hold sacred on the alter of your becoming. You asked to have your life torn apart so that you could fulfill the lofty intent that you set.

     The Carlos Castaneda material describes this kind of immersive Initiatory experience. For instance: none of Carlos learning experiences were linearly presented. He set to discover the mystery and fit it neatly into the box of reason. The result was a series of adventures, which is what initiation can seem to be depending on the unique starting point of each individual Sorcerer. There are countless books about initiation and they have their value in that you can ascertain common experiences that even students from different systems seem to share. Certianly your experience will be uniquely based upon the intent you set and what is keeping you from achieving that.

     In the neo magickal marketplace dark side is the new black and every one wants to become a dark god. In this modern setting individuals set their intent and expect their scientific application of magickal Axioms to simply do the job without taking into account the path that they have dared to set foot on. Seriously applying magickal Axioms works every time but don't forget to factor in the variable that you may be overlooking why you are doing the ritual. If you are doing it to shortcut past a growth experience then your ass is grass and your intent is that bad ass lawn mower coming at you.

     Understand what you have done and you can use Magick to stack the deck in your favor. But understand you must: every experience from the moment that you set your intent has been for the fulfillment of your intention. That is why I say: "Everything is true and nothing is permitted."
